- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Bailey is an absolute GENIUS! I had a tumor on my parotid gland that had to be removed. After doing all the research on a parotidectomy I was terrified. The nerve that controls ALL the movement in your face travels through the parotid gland. It's common for patients to experience some loss of movement after this procedure although most regain control after a short time. I woke up in recovery with 100% control of ALL my facial movements. Dr. Bailey was right there testing my ability to blink, smile etc.... My tumor was large and I'm sure quite difficult to work around.
