- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I typically would not bad mouth a doctor or dentist. However, in this case, I had more than one problem. Not only will they not allow a parent to go back with their minor child (my daughter is 5, she will be 6 in 2 months), but also they lied to me and they tried to deceive me. When I told them I wanted to go back with my daughter even though they "typically do not allow it," the dental assistant told me that she would ask the dentist if I could come back and that she would let me know one way or another once she got my daughter in the chair. 3 minutes later, the receptionist told me that she had just received a message saying that my daughter was doing great. I told her that was fine, but that I still wanted to go back with her. She then told me they usually do not allow parents to go back. I told her that was fine, then to bring my daughter back out to me if I wasn't allowed to go back with her. So she said she would tell the dental assistant. The dental assistant then came out (without my daughter) to tell me that she was doing great and she didn't seem to be having any problems. I told her that I didn't care, to bring my daughter out to me IMMEDIATELY! So not only did the assistant lie when she said she would let me know what the dentist said one way or another (btw she never asked him), she also tried to deceive and trick me into letting my daughter stay back without me.April 04, 2017by Christina Hawley
